Sunday School

Sunday school promotes Christian education through reading, hearing, discussion and application of God’s word. Sunday school also offers an opportunity to help shape children in their formative years and become what God would have them to be. It is also just as important for a family because there the life-changing message of Jesus Christ is proclaimed: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). Sunday school is held at 9:15 a.m.

"Beginning the day of worship by studying the word of God."

Luke 24:1.....Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

II Timothy 2:15.....Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Annual Sunday School Day

Held each May, this annual event is designed to get UBCC members excited about and recommitted to attending Sunday School regularly and encourage evangelism by inviting family, friends, co-workers, neighbors and the community to come share God’s Word through biblical lessons. Sunday school offers a golden opportunity to help shape boys and girls in their formative years to become what God would have them to be as well as reinforce adults learning and faith levels through interactive learning and discussions. Sunday school is important to all members because there is a life-changing message of Jesus Christ proclaimed: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Sons, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16
