About Pastor Robinson

Kenneth R. Robinson grew up in Union Bethel Independent Methodist Church, now know as Union Bethel Christian Church (UBCC), see Church History. As a youth in high school, he taught Sunday school and participated in various activities in the church and the community. As a young adult he served as a steward (deacon) for several years and preached his first sermon on May 22, 1977 and later became Assistant Pastor under the tutelage of Pastor Albert H. Felder. Pastor Robinson served as pastor of the St. Paul Methodist Church in Selma, Alabama for nine years (1982-1991). In July of 1993, Pastor Robinson accepted the call of Union Bethel to return as pastor and continues to serve faithfully.

His desire as a pastor is found in one of his favorite scriptures, Jeremiah 3:15....."to be a pastor after God's own heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding."
